Sagar Shiriskar is based in India. As a photographer, his work has been part of a traveling exhibition by The Photographic Angle in the UK, an association linked to the Royal Photographic Society, and he has also exhibited at KHOJ, Delhi as part of the PEERS residency. His photographs were exhibited as part of Project Cinema City, National Gallery of Modern Art and at an exhibition on Integrity and Wastewater management. Bonn, Germany. His work was exhibited as part of the Traveling Nikon Photo Contest 2016-2017 Photo Exhibition [Winner Next Generation Award, Photo Story] in ten cities around the world. His photographs have also been published as a cover image by Packt Publishers, and in the Mumbai Reader 2017 by the Urban Design Research Institute as the cover image; some images are also included within the reader. His photographs have been published by the Blouin Art Info, The Hindu, India, The Guardian, UK, The Caravan, India, Nat Geo Traveller, India, Himal Southasian, Nepal, Wherever Mag, New York, Mondo Arc, United Kingdom, Live Mint & The Wall Street Journal, India, Le Journal de la Photographie, France, Sunday Guardian, India and Business Standard, India He also won the India Is- Photography Challenge 2012 (Series 3), an initiative by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) & Incredible India. He was the artist in residence at Khoj International Artists Association, Delhi in 2017 and he was also awarded the Prince Claus Mobility Fund for Culture and Development
