Salvatore Vitale

Salvatore Vitale is a Sicilian born independent photographer based between Lugano and Zürich, Switzerland. He’s mainly working for the City of Lugano and his work is published in several international publications. He grew up in Palermo until he moved to Lugano for his studies in Communication Sciences. In 2009 he has been nominated influential artist by Polapremium USA. In 2011 he has been nominated for the Reflexions Masterclass, an international seminar for the teaching of contemporary photography which has hosted some of the finest young authors from the world over conducted by Giorgia Fiorio and Gabriel Bauret. In 2014 he studied at the ICP - International Center of Photography. In 2015 he won the Swiss Photo Award, best of 2014. From 2015 he's part of ISSP International Masterclass by Andrei Polikanov and Yuri Kozyrev.
