Simon Karlstetter is an artist, musician and cultural entrepreneur. He is the founder and artistic co-director of the internationally renowned and award-winning organization for contemporary photography »DER GREIF«, as well as co-founder of the interdisciplinary artist-collective »STUDIO FURIO«, uniting dance, theatre, music and media art. »DER GREIF« has been awarded »Photography Magazine of the Year 2014« by the Lucie Foundation in NY, is regularly working with institutions such as FOAM, Aperture Foundation, C/O Berlin, Fotomuseum Winterthur and published works from about 1.000 photographers and artists in printed publications as well as online. Simon is regularly giving lectures, workshops and talks about his work, e.g. at Unseen Amsterdam, C/O Berlin, LCC London, Kunstverein München, Rodchenko Art School Moscow and Krakow Photomonth
