Sophie Dumaresq

Sophie Dumaresq (Sophie Dumaresq) is an artist working with photography in addition to large and small scale sculptural installation. Her work explores the symbiotic cycles of consumption, destruction and creation and how they relate back to everyday experience. In 2008 she attended a student internship program at the The Australian National University Centre for Science and Technology. She completed her Diploma in Photography (honours) at Spéos International photography school - Paris & London and has participated in group exhibitions in Australia, France, Greece and Germany. After being based in France from 2011 to 2017, Sophie is now based in Australia.
