Thomas Hauser (b 1984) is in the process of developing a photographic and sculptural work around the subject of the reawakening of invented memories. It begins from the creation of a large body of images made up of both family archives and photographs taken by himself. The “unearthed” and manipulated images construct an erased genealogy, a lost memory brought back to life. In 2015, he published a book (The Wake of Dust) and has been showing his work in several exhibitions in Paris (G8, Cité Internationale des Arts), Marseille (Atelier Devisu, RLBQ) and recently Eden, NC (USA), New York (NY Art Book Fair 2015) and Amsterdam (Unseen Photo Fair). Thomas Hauser is graduated from the Fine Art school of Marseille and the California College of Arts, San Francisco.
